Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I save the files rather than playing them when I click them?

- What are the speex files?
- The speex format, or more properly the ogg/speex format is a free non-propritary audio format. The spx format was designed specifically for speech and uses advanced methods that make it superior to the MP3 format for encoding speech.
- What are the vorbis files?

- When I click one of the speex or vorbis files my computer will not play it, but rather gives an error message. What can I do to play the vorbis or speex files?
- The Windows operating system does not come capable of playing speex or vorbis files by default. If you want to play speex or vorbis files, you will need to either download an audio player like Winamp or download the speex and vorbis codecs. You can download files for the speex codec Here.
